Atlas Collectible Firearms is proud to present this extraordinary 1955 Winchester Model 1894 Short Wood Carbine chambered in .30-30 Winchester. This lever-action rifle is a truly unique masterpiece, having undergone extensive, high-quality period engraving and custom stock carving that elevates it to functional artistry far beyond its factory origins.
This Model 94 features a 20-inch barrel and deep relief German style scrollwork covering the receiver, barrel, and lever. The receiver is accented with silver inlays: a buck in a wood scene on the left side and a mountain goat on the right. The walnut stock and forearm are meticulously hand carved in a detailed leaf and acorn pattern, showcasing incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail.
The overall condition is excellent as custom finished, retaining nearly all of its deep metal finish with only minor handling marks. The custom stocks show nominal light impressions & marks. Mechanically, the rifle is functional, and the bore remains bright. An outstanding addition to any collection of custom, highly embellished lever-action rifles.
